Rzilient offers Responsible Digital Knowledge certification internally

Benefit from effective IT support

As a company working to democratize green iT, it is obvious that supporting our internal team to develop its skills and knowledge in terms of responsible digital technology (NR) is absolutely essential.
If we were not able to acculturate ourselves internally on the subject, how could we effectively guide other organizations towards more green iT?
In this context, and as part of the formalization and deployment of our CSR strategy and policy”Develop responsible relationships and working conditions” - in alignment with the Lucie26000 repository -, we decided to fund the Responsible Digital Knowledge Certificate to all members of the Rzilient team.
A little feedback.
CSR principle of action: Continuing training for its employees
Developing responsible relationships and working conditions is an integral part of a comprehensive and global CSR approach. Indeed, beyond a responsible business model and the positive impact of the product or service offered by a company, if the working conditions do not allow the development of its employees, the latter's entrepreneurial project does not make full sense.
At a time of an active and unrestrained search for meaning at work, organizations have the responsibility to ensure the well-being and achievement of their employees.
According to A study conducted in 2017 by Deloitte and Viadeo, 87% of workers attach importance to the meaning of work. 54% of them even consider that this search for meaning guided their choice of profession. Yes, but lo and behold: 56% of respondents believe that the meaning of work has deteriorated. The phenomenon seems alarming.
Usbek & Rica
The meaning of work has deteriorated insofar as the conditions allowing everyone to find, at the very least, meaning in what they do, are not systematically ensured by organizations. Namely: “learn new things, transmit, take on a challenge, resolve conflicts, and be recognized and thanked for your contribution to the company's actions.” Employees are now eager to learn, thirsty for new knowledge and want to pass it on to those around them.
From now on, continuing education must be an integral part of any Quality of Life at Work (QWL) policy.
Increase in knowledge and skills in Responsible Digital Technology
The company therefore has a duty to ensure the continuous training of its employees. This is all the more the case in a sector as recent, complex and technical as green iT!
At the time when, according to the Benchmark Green IT 2021, Digital technology in the office represents 27% of the sustainable GHG package of a French employee, it is essential for this subject to grow and to be able to involve employees at all levels in order to drastically reduce the IT footprint of organizations. This therefore requires increased awareness and acculturation to this concept so that each employee can grasp the subject and apply the right actions on a daily basis, in order to participate at their level in the overall approach of the structure.
And since the role of Rzilient is to support organizations in the adoption of green iT approaches, and in particular refurbished equipment, in order to guide them towards more responsible iT policies, it is up to all of us internally to increase our skills and knowledge about NR. All in order to become an ambassador internally and externally - the idea being that everyone can communicate the knowledge acquired at Rzilient around them.
The fact of acculturating yourself to green iT thus gives even more meaning to the work of each member of the team! From this observation stems our desire to ensure the financing of the NR knowledge certification as a first step and introduction to the subject for any new collaborator joining the project. This is followed by a training plan that we have defined and maintain regularly in order to offer training sessions and awareness-raising workshops - in order to make people understand the challenges of NR, to then explore the themes and provide the tools to enable Rzilient employees to become real committed citizens.
The NR: a process of learning and continuous improvement
Since NR is a continuous improvement process aimed at reducing the digital footprint in the long term, offering continuous learning and training to our employees contributes to the process, and is an integral part of it.
It is also one of the strategic axes of the NR to promote the emergence of new behaviors and values towards greater resilience, hence the need to continuously educate on the subject in order to include the entire team in the internal and external NR project. Incorporating green iT into our DNA and corporate culture beyond our activity thus requires the training and awareness of all our employees.
All this in order to ensure the continuous improvement of our project to support you in the implementation of a responsible iT policy. 💚
You too can acculturate your teams about NR. Do you want to get involved in green iT and RNE procedures? Let's talk about it!
