_rzilient obtains the Responsible Digital Label

Discover our all-in-one solution
A look back at news that has rocked our sleep in recent months... Rzilient obtained the Responsible Digital Label in April 2022!
The realization of a project carried out for almost a year by the whole team, we are extremely proud to be awarded this certification, which legitimizes our approach.
Since Responsible Digital Technology (NR) is part of our DNA, from the very beginning of Rzilient, we tell you here how far we have come.
Marcel in the saddle.
The NR Label
With a repository built by Green iT experts - TheInstitute for Responsible Digital Technology, in partnership with the Ministry of Ecological and Inclusive Transition, theAdeme And the WWF - the NR label is based on 5 axes and 14 principles of action of the NR, specifically:
- Strategy and governance
- Support for the NR strategy
- Digital services lifecycle
- Extending your NR approach
- Products and services of Digital Service Companies (DSBs)
Formerly two different labels, Responsible Digital and Responsible Digital Companies, were assembled in an effort of uniqueness and coherence to give birth to a single label bringing together actors in the field.
The certification process is now managed by Agence LUCIE, the audit is carried out by SGS, Bureau Veritas or Baker Tilly STREGO, and finally the decision to award the label is made by an independent certification committee. This tripartite organization attests to the seriousness and the requirement of the certification process, and supports our approach as solid and relevant.
The different stages of certification
The certification process takes time. Appointing a specific person to coordinate the certification project internally is necessary. Indeed, all the work to be done to centralize the information and supporting documents necessary to respond to the framework - from self-assessment to the drafting of commitments - is substantial.
We started the process in July 2021, and started with a preparation phase with a 3-day training course on Responsible Digital issues and best practices with the Lucie training center.
We then moved on to the self-assessment stage by studying the various principles of action of the NR framework and then were audited by Bureau Veritas to verify the consistency and feasibility of these different approaches within Rzilient.
Finally, we wrote our progress commitments and created an action plan, the label being based on a continuous improvement process.
What does that mean for Rzilient?
Thus, after having worked on the file for nearly a year, this certification legitimizes our positioning as an ESN in the service of the democratization of green iT: we are doing everything we can to support organizations in simplifying and making their IT management more sustainable, and extending the life of their equipment, while optimizing our own digital footprint.
It is especially in view of our external value proposition that we must be exemplary internally.
What's next?
Obtaining the label is only the beginning — the NR is a continuous, logical improvement process and a philosophy in which we want to write our raison d'être.
On a daily basis, for us, the commitment to circular digital technology involves both:
- through sustainable management of our IT internally,
- and by the constant improvement of our products and services to support our customers towards more effective and sustainable IT management.
Conclusion & thanks
Thanks to Agence Lucie for their support and expertise, and congratulations to the whole Rzilient team! It is only the beginning!
Think of us for you support in your own Green iT approach !
