Whatever the case, we recommend that you systematically reset the computer of an employee leaving your company in order to ensure that the data is deleted.

When offboarding, choose reset as the deprovisioning option. This will cause MDM to be reset, unenlisted, and allocated to inventory.

Use case:

‍

1. Your collaborator is in person and must return his equipment upon departure

‍

2. Your employee works remotely and must return their equipment when they leave.

Be sure to physically retrieve the computer when the employee leaves.

3. Your collaborator keeps his computer when he leaves

We recommend that you reset the computer. It will then be unenrolled from the MDM and assigned to your stock account.

On the “Fleet” page, you will then have to select it and remove it from the fleet. It will then be removed from your fleet inventory on the platform.
