Why do I need to register my equipment on a security and remote control (MDM) tool?

The Rzilient platform allows you to synchronize your IT fleet to a Mobile Device Management (MDM) tool.

Registering your equipment on an MDM allows us to perform several actions in order to secure and maintain the proper functioning of your computer. Here are some of them:

• Securing your workspaces;
• hard drive encryption;
• Creating a password policy;
• Antivirus deployment;
• Support on your equipment in case of technical problems;
• Deployment of applications and software.

Attention, MDM does not allow NOT :

• To access documents
• To access the browser history

For information purposes, here is the type of data collected by the MDM:

• Device identification information (for example, brand, serial number, model, storage and RAM capacity)

• Information about the status of the device and the applications installed to ensure compliance with security and device management policies

• Basic usage data, such as error logs or crash reports to diagnose and resolve technical issues

• Device security status, including software updates and encryption levels to ensure security and compliance with corporate standards
