After founding and developing Alter Eco, a pioneer company in fair and organic trade in France, Tristan Lecomte founded PUR Projet in 2008. This organization, fighting against climate change and deforestation, supports cooperatives and farmers around the world. PUR Projet develops and sets up projects to engage companies in integrating climate issues into the heart of their value chain in order to regenerate, boost and preserve the ecosystems on which they depend (Insetting).

The challenges of engaging in responsible digital technology

To carry out its mission, PUR Projet is positioning digital sobriety as a key element in its growth strategy. In this context, the company relies in particular on a fleet of mobile workstations equipped with various software (Google Suite, Office, internal communication software). It is in this context that the PUR Projet iT team contacted Rzilient to present its needs and to study a possible collaboration.

The scope of the project concerned the management of a heterogeneous computer park of a hundred mobile workstations to be managed. Concretely, it was initially a question of offering Refurbished laptops and Macbooks compatible with the needs of each employee and to provide them turnkey: pre-configured, secure and directly accessible.

The green iT solutions implemented

Through the catalog accessible on the Rzilient platform, each employee can choose their iT equipment during onboarding or hardware renewal.

With the desire to extend the life of the equipment, rzilient also provides the services of computer support and user support. In terms of computer troubleshooting, beyond the point of entry through the platform, email and telephone support is offered in order to ensure human expertise, adapted to the specific needs of PUR Projet, remotely or on site. rzilient also supports teams, managers and collaborators, in their IT logistics, in particular on subjects related to teleworking or in the context of the opening of new offices.

And to complete a 360 service, Rzilient provides indicators on the carbon footprint of the fleet used, to extract various extra-financial reports via their platform.

This pragmatic approach, which combines the quality of the refurbished equipment supplied, a Saas fleet management platform, green iT and attractive pricing, were key elements that led PUR Projet to work quickly with the Rzilient teams.

The green iT solutions implemented

In production since April 2021, this modern outsourcing project is an operational success, due to its simplicity and its lasting impact on the entire organization.

Building on this first success and the satisfaction of its teams with regard to the assistance support services provided, the company is currently setting up new projects with Rzilient, in the management of its WiFi office infrastructures, the cabling of its iT installations but especially in the management of new equipment and the expansion of collaboration to new territories.
