The 100% Zero Touch experience: automated IT asset management for Pandacraft

Discover our all-in-one solution
Rzilient has been delighted to be working with Pandacraft for several months now. The latter, based in Paris, publishes a magazine for children (from 1 to 12 years old), and a range of edutainment products. And it works! The company is growing steadily and is launching new offerings.
Our IT expert Fabio recently worked at Pandacraft, alongside their CTO, Thomas.
Back to the details of this intervention. A new opportunity to illustrate in a very concrete and practical way what you can expect from Rzilient on a daily basis.

A successful intervention
The goals: Jamf Pro and Zero Touch
The main objective of the intervention was to configure Apple Business Manager with Jamf Pro in Pandacraft's IT infrastructure.
Let's take this opportunity to remind you that Jamf Pro is a solution offered by Apple, which allows businesses to manage and secure their Apple device fleets. So that includes iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks. Jamf Pro offers features such as:
- remote configuration;
- application deployment;
- managing security policies and software updates;
- as well as the monitoring of inventories and users.
Jamf Pro's main goal is to simplify the management of Apple devices at scale, providing a smooth and secure user experience.
A second objective of our intervention was to set up a Zero Touch workflow.

Pandacraft on the way to Zero Touch
Zero Touch, what? ❔
With the growth in the size of IT assets and the number of connected devices, IT managers are increasingly turning to “touchless” (Zero Touch) remote configuration and management. The objective? Simplify large-scale hardware deployments.
The Zero Touch Allows you to configure and update IT devices from a central location, thus offering gains in terms of speed, consistency and efficiency. The approach also reduces costs and human errors, making it a valuable method for critical and time-sensitive deployments.
During the intervention, Fabio was able to:
- perform the configuration on Apple, Jamf and Google tools ;
- test The good How does the Mac Zero Touch deployment workflow work ;
- offer a demo to the customer, in order to present him with the user experience of an employee receiving his PC freshly reset or just out of the box.
Finally, we took advantage of this on-site intervention to integrate all their tools with the Rzilient platform. Pandacraft finds all their devices enrolled in Jamf on their Rzilient inventory, in just a few clicks!
Demonstration of a computer wipe
Fabio also made a demonstration of a wipe (or reset). Concretely, it is a question of resetting an employee's computer to zero, during his Departure from the company, for example.
The computer is then in a state where all you have to do is connect to wifi to perform the set-up, following the workflow set up for Zero Touch.
The intervention went perfectly. The whole Pandacraft team enjoyed it a lot the simplicity and perfect functioning of the workflow set up.

And what's next?
And of course, the Rzilient team remains available to Pandacraft teams (as well as all of our customers) to help the company deploy the applications it needs.
The longer-term goal? Switch Pandacraft's entire IT equipment fleet to leased management with Rzilient's offer.
Leasing? It is a solution that provides numerous advantages compared to the purchase of IT equipment. Through a long-term rental contract, your company leases computer equipment (computers, servers or network equipment) from a specialized supplier. Instead of buying the hardware, you pay a monthly fee to make the hardware available for a set period of time. You therefore greatly reduce initial costs, better control your cash flow and benefit from regular software and technological updates!
Pandacraft also plans to systematize the use of Rzilient to realize its Onboardings and offboarding, directly from the platform, using Zero Touch. The computer hardware will therefore reach the Pandacraft teams preconfigured, completely secure and with all the authorizations and accesses already configured.
Significant time savings and significant savings to be expected!
A 100% Apple fleet and a profitable business!
Pandacraft is a fast-growing company and has been profitable since 2018.
The fifty employees work exclusively on Mac and are delighted to manage your computer equipment with Rzilient's all-in-one platform.
The next step? Configure all the applications necessary to carry out their daily work, using the Rzilient platform, of course 🙂
