Ykone renews the management of its IT assets with _rzilient

Since its creation in 2008, Ykone — an agency specialized in influence marketing — has supported its +100 clients (Nespresso, Estée Lauder, Clarins, LVMH, Chopard...) in the creation and distribution of content locally or internationally.
Ykone has trusted Rzilient since 2022 to simplify, secure and automate their IT asset management. We supported their teams by combining Zero Touch settings and custom workstations for their employees on the French and Swiss markets.

A Zero Touch and fully industrialized implementation
When Myra, Office Manager at Ykone, made the choice to turn to Rzilient, one of the company's main concerns was to ensure that all employees had access to the Internet from the new premises recently invested after moving. Rzilient intervened to facilitate the network installation, and guarantee access to the internet on site.
A second priority for the Ykone teams was to access high-performance MAC workstations benefiting from tailor-made settings. To a lesser extent, the aim was also to limit the loss of efficiency and time on onboarding and procurement issues.
We therefore jointly determined a plan of attack to manage this project from end to end: the objective being to deploy a Zero Touch provisioning device for users so that, as soon as they receive their workstation, they can connect to the Internet and have their profile/session automatically installed without any action on their part being necessary.
Based on its expertise on the subject, and after buying the machines, our team created Apple Business Manager (ABM) spaces. It was therefore delegated management on behalf of Ykone. The entire fleet was then enrolled in the Workspace ONE MDM environment. Finally, in-depth work was carried out to define user profiles and therefore the configuration of the machines.

Simplified and personalized deployment
Once everything was set up, the machines were delivered without distinction of end users, and then each employee was able, with the help of a previously created guide, to launch the installation procedure and access workstations configured for their specific business needs — all in less than 5 minutes.
It should also be noted that during the first connection, for security reasons, users were asked to change the generic password that had been assigned to them. Finally, following the preparation of the machines, during the first connection, the disk is encrypted using FileVault.
An effective and promising operation
The operational success of this first project, which involved a customer base of 30 workstations, allowed Ykone to validate the benefits of this approach and to consider extending it to new territories.
