From the very beginning, KillBills has bet on simpler, greener and more human IT by changing our obsolete vision of the receipt, to make it digital. No need for paper printing, the purchase history is transferred directly to the bank area. A greener and more responsible solution that simplifies financial management.

The company, which is now surrounded by a dozen employees, has, from the first recruitments, sought a way to manage and optimize its IT equipment.

It is the founder Basile who is in charge of IT and must therefore manage on/offboarding, cybersecurity and the continuous management of their IT fleet.

KillBills was one of the very first startups to trust Rzilient. A few years later, the collaboration continues with the same mindset: a reliable, human solution that is in line with the challenges of a tech team in full structuring.

Sid-Ahmed, co-founder of the company, looks back on the beginnings, the evolutions, and the concrete benefits of this relationship of trust.

Equipping a company while respecting its constraints

From the start, two imperatives guided KillBills' choices:

  1. Equip yourself at a lower cost : an accessible solution, without massive investment.
  2. Respecting their CSR commitments : collaborate with partners who share their environmental values.
When we started recruiting, we needed professional computers. Buying something new? Unthinkable: too expensive and contrary to our beliefs.”

The choice is naturally based on leased equipment, and the founding duo discovered Rzilient.

“Rzilient ticked all the boxes: a company on a human scale, with a real CSR commitment. Reconditioned Macs, an approach that's easier than the competition. It was obvious.”

Ultra-smooth onboarding, without mental load

Since then, KillBills has been equipped exclusively via Rzilient. For each onboarding, the procedure is the same: a message, the choice of a template, and everything is taken care of.

I just say: 'We have a new recruit on such a day', and I know that everything will be ready. The computer arrives set up, with the right tools installed. We inform the person, they get their Mac, they connect... and they start working, without friction.”

This fluidity changes everything for a tech team that wants to focus on its product.

“Before Rzilient, we did everything by hand. Today, we have reduced the time spent on each onboarding by 30%. We're reinvesting hours in development, not in logistics.”

Even offboarding is managed in a simple and secure way. rzilient takes care of the return of the equipment, while guaranteeing the deletion of the data.

Cybersecurity, without complexity

KillBills operates in a sensitive sector: payments, digital receipts, user data. Cybersecurity is a priority for them.

“We work with banks, so the subject has never been secondary. Our workstations had to be secured from day one.”

Initially managed internally, workstation protection is now integrated into the Rzilient solution.

“You offer a simple and complete package. Antivirus, encryption, network protection... everything is ready upon arrival. A real time-saver.”

At the same time, KillBills knows that cybersecurity also involves raising awareness internally. In fact, it has a tech lead who manages monthly phishing campaigns on a monthly basis, and the teams regularly receive training to maintain this cybersecurity culture.

And it works: our teams know how to identify risks and we maintain a good level of alert.

More durable equipment, a more human relationship

Beyond the technical aspects, what Sid-Ahmed remembers from working with Rzilient is the human aspect.

“I remember a time when you delivered the computers in person. It's rare to have this direct link with a supplier. You are not just a platform, you are a team that listens, that advises, and that evolves with its customers.”

For KillBills, the fact that the equipment is refurbished extends its lifespan while guaranteeing a good level of performance for developers.

“We are happy to equip our team with Macs, and even more so when we know that this equipment will have a second life after us. It gives meaning to our choices, beyond simple financial logic.”

An IT partner you can rely on

Simplicity, efficiency, reliability. This is what KillBills expects from its IT management, and what Rzilient has been bringing them for over 4 years.

“You have grown up, so have we. But the spirit stayed the same. You are good, you are accessible, and you continue to save us time.”
